Move house with fibre

Treat the new address as a fresh availability check, even if you can see a fibre box on its wall.

Before moving

Send Riley your old and new service addresses, including unit numbers, and your preferred move date. Ask whether an ONT is installed and what the quoted timing and costs are. Keep the old connection until the agreed changeover arrangements are clear.

What stays at the old house

Leave the fixed ONT, its matching power supply and the optical cable in place. Take your own RileyNet router, its separate adapter and removable Ethernet cable. Check return instructions for equipment owned by a previous provider.

At the new address

Find the new ONT, confirm it has the correct power lead and note the visible light labels. Follow Riley’s new activation instructions, including the assigned port. Your old port number may differ. If the box is missing, send the address and a description before buying any equipment.
